Sawyer
High performance industrial arm robot
Sawyer is a large, 7 degree of freedom industrial arm robot being used for research in human-robot collaboration. Some of the research we’ve done on Sawyer is in communicative robot motions, or in other words, studying ways to make arms like Sawyer’s move naturally and in ways that match our expectations. This research will lay the foundation for a more human like interaction in other robots such as MOVO, our two armed robot.
